How is USA?
Why This Country?
Country Description
The United States is a highly developed country, and its economy accounts for approximately a quarter of global GDP and is the world's largest by GDP at market. The USA is the second-largest country in the world and consists of a mix of large urban areas and vast, thinly populated plains with beautiful natural landscapes. The cultures in the United States are likewise very diverse. In part due to the influx of immigrants that have entered America since the 17th century, the US consists of a colourfull mix of cultures from all over the world. The country itself can feel overwhelming; everything is big, bigger, biggest. There is a reason why America is known as the country of unlimited possibilities. The “American Dream”, the diversity and the contrasts in nature and culture make the United States a very popular holiday destination. In The United States, English is the main language.
International Student's Educational Facilites
The United States has long been the top receiving country for international students, who historically have been drawn by the high quality of U.S. higher education, its value on the international labor market, and access to job opportunities in the United States after graduation. The number of international students enrolled in U.S. colleges and universities has experienced strong overall growth. International students can add diversity to a college or university, enriching the experience of other students on campus. Schools with a strong global presence often have a wealth of cultural groups and events, allowing international students an opportunity to share their food, music and traditions
Working Scope
Work hours are limited to 20 hours per week while school is in session, but you can work full time during holidays and vacation periods. If you choose to work more than one on-campus job, your total combined hours per week cannot exceed 20 hours. Jobs outside of your school are only available to international students who have completed one full academic year and who have a qualifying economic hardship or an emergent circumstance.
Safety and Security
America is a safe country to travel to. However, the country also has less savoury neighbourhood which you are better off not going to, especially in the larger cities. Be sure to check on arrival where you should best travel to on your trip, and which places should be avoided. Should you stay in the wilderness, be wary of the wild animals that live here, like bears. Never leave food scraps behind.
